Louder Than Words is an organization comprised of a few of America's finest custom pisolsmiths and some talented, dedicated people that believe as I do, that we should from time to time concentrate on something other than ourselves. A main purpose of the organization is to provide financial assistance to worthy entities. There are some pleasant side benefits to those who participate, and also to those who merely love fine guns and the craftsmanship that makes them masterpieces. A Few Words About Semi-Auto Pistol Reliability And Magazines:

   Most of us are familiar with the terms "throat and ramp" as it applies to auto pistol feeding, but feeding and overall reliability in these guns is a function of many other items, such as: extractor tension and profile, breech face dimensions and finish, ejector shape and size, and probably the most overlooked item of all - magazines. A magazine that won't do its job because of damage or poor design turns your high-tech semi auto into a single shot pistol.

   Part of doing reliability work on any pistol should be checking and adjusting the magazines to that individual weapon.

   Colt type 45 autos are particularly sensitive to this. Remember when buying magazines for your Colt, Springfield, etc., That just because a magazine says "Colt 45 auto" on its baseplate does not necessarily mean it is a genuine colt magazine!

About Our Packages

Our packages are composed of the items that our customers most often request. We now offer both a "basic street package", and the more extensive "tactical" package for those customers who desire more modifications to their firearm.

Please keep in mind, that our packages can be altered by you to include any additional work that you may desire on your individual weapon. For instance, if you want a tactical package with checkered front strap, or you do not want the night sight inserts in your sights, that this isn't a problem for us.

We are in business to provide you with the modifications you want on your individual gun, not the modifications we want to give you. Your finished gun should be something to be proud of, instead of someone else's idea of what you should have.

For the Hobbyist
Do you enjoy working on your guns but don't have the equipment for all the modifications? 

We'd be glad to do the machining (our parts or your own) and you can finish the gun yourself.
